1CASH SALARY: includes cash salary and social security allowance, if applicable.
2HOUSING ALLOWANCE: where a manse is provided, usually the housing allowance is equivalent to 40% of the cash salary.
3BENEFITS: e.g., medical insurance, disability/life insurance, employer's retirement contribution.
4TOTAL COMPENSATION = the sum of Cash Salary, Housing Allowance, and Benefits. Business expenses, for which a pastor is reimbursed, would not be included as a part of the pastor's Total Compensation.
